Going LIVE on Facebook!

Hi Friends,

My wonderful husband and I will be going LIVE from my Facebook Artist Page (@JThietten) for a few days this next week. Each segment will be about 10 minutes. While quarantined at home, we wanted to be able to do Something to encourage others and give hope. We'd love for you to join us.

You can view my April Update/Newsletter below the picture.

Hi Friends,

A lot has happened since my last newsletter. We are certainly living in interesting times aren't we? I pray you are all staying safe and well. My husband and I have been spending a lot of time prayer. I have to keep reminding myself in times like this that God did not promise us we wouldn't have hard times or endure suffering, but He DID promise that He would be with us and never leave us during those times. I am counting my blessings that I am able to quarantine and work a little from home. So many of you are on the front lines and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for risking your health to serve and help others. Let's continue praying for our health care professionals, first responder's, military, delivery workers, care-givers, grocery store workers, scientists, leaders and all of those on the front lines serving and doing their best to keep us safe.

EARTHQUAKE in IDAHO

Just last night we had an earthquake here in Southern Idaho. We don't get them very often and we are thankful we were over 100 miles from the epicenter which was a 6.5 Magnitude quake which lasted 20-30 seconds. The floor rolled, the light fixtures swayed back and forth, we felt dizzy and a little nauseous, and our dog Mac stood there and stared at the floor. After it was over, my husband and I looked at each other, smiled and said "Jesus, can you just come already?" lol.

Stay safe and well. Let's continue to cover each other in prayer.

Jaime

P.S. I want to end with the words of a meme that's been going around on FB that will hopefully bring a smile.

"This is the Lentiest Lent I ever Lented."

Scottsdale AZ Trip/ Jaime's portion of Concerts Postponed

Hi Friends,
Thursday morning I felt very moved after a lot of prayer to postpone my portion of the events in Scottsdale Arizona. Julie Carrick will be presenting instead.

I just couldn't live with myself if I picked something up on a plane and passed it around to the wonderful folks down there (or if I brought something back to Idaho). I feel that is the unselfish thing to do. I pray that you all understand my heart and know that I am looking forward to coming and sharing in Scottsdale at a safer time.

Have a blessed and safe Lent and Easter.

Jaime

I'm Alive! Christmas Tour Schedule! Coupon Code Store Specials!

Greetings Everyone!

It’s almost Thanksgiving! How’d that happen? I hope you are enjoying your Fall/Winter (depending on where you live). I know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me and I apologize for that. Things are going great here and I wanted to give you a quick update. There’s a lot but I will try to keep it short.

Busy Teaching and Loving It!

This past year I came off the road and shifted my main job from concert touring to teaching private voice lessons. I am loving it! It’s so much fun to pass on what I’ve learned over the years and help others to find their voice in order to share their God-given talents with others. And I can't lie... there's also been much comfort in knowing there's a steady pay check coming from that each month to pay the mortgage.

I’ve also spent time continuing my vocal education by taking classes/lessons from one of the best coaches in L.A. (Mr. Dave Stroud) who is an amazing person and an incredible coach. It’s really helping me to be the best teacher I can be for my students which is so rewarding.  I average about 25 students each week. We are gearing up for our Fall Recital and then I break from teaching in December so I can do my Advent/Christmas Concert Tour. Yay!

Advent/Christmas Tour Dates

I’m excited and blessed to head back out on the road for a bit. I'm booked pretty solid this December which will be busy but fun. I've posted the tour schedule below. If you live in or near these area’s please come! Or ask your friends who live there to come. The concerts are free (A free-will offering will be taken during the concert and my recorded music will be available for purchase). Bring your friends and family! The music and message will be a wonderful way to bring you into the true spirit of Advent and Christmas.

Happy Easter! Prayers Needed.

Happy Easter!

What a beautiful time we have each year to look at Christ's sacrifice as He took on our sins at Calvary. Then we have Sunday to celebrate His victory over death. Death has been defeated and we now have the hope of living with Him forever. What a joyous day!

This past week has been tough.

Two of my dear friends each lost family members. One was the father of a friend and one was the son of another friend. My heart is absolutely broken for both families as they make funeral plans. I know that it's even harder to make these plans over a Holiday. But what a beautiful Holiday to celebrate these precious lives. What a beautiful time we have to reflect, that this is not the end.

We have the hope of that wonderful day when we will meet again. That hope is what holds us together. That hope is what gets us through such difficult times. That hope needs to be shared with a world that is hurting so badly. Hold on to that Hope.

This Easter, remember what Christ did for us, and that His love will get us through anything if we stay close to Him. Death has been defeated.

Join me in Prayer

Lord we look forward to you coming to take us home

and away from the pains of this world.

Thank you for what you did for us.

Thank you for your love and your mercy and your graces

that pour out on us each and every day.

Help us to be thankful for what we have

and to take time for those we love.

Be with us and guide us as we continue

to be your hands and feet to those in need. Amen

Friends, if you could please pause for a moment and say a prayer for these two families, I would appreciate it. Hughes and Heil are the last names. Pray that God will give them peace and comfort. Pray that He will fill the hole that has been left in their lives with these losses. Pray that we as a community can see opportunities to reach out to those in need. Thank you.

Have a Blessed Easter (remember it doesn't end on Monday). We have 50 days to celebrate.

"Ave Maria" (Jaime put this together specifically for the Covid 19 pandemic). It was made to help draw us into deeper prayer for our front-line workers, for each other and for an end to the pandemic. May it bring comfort and hope to those who listen and pray along.
